Learning how to learn

Rome International School was founded in 1988 in order to provide children of all nationalities and religions an environment in which they can learn about, explore and respect cultural diversity and the heritage and traditions of their own and other countries.

The teachers at Rome International School motivate and inspire students to become lifelong learners, helping them to identify and develop their unique skills and abilities. The school’s fundamental educational philosophy is to teach its students to “learn how to learn”. Students at Rome International School are open-minded, independent learners capable of working successfully both as individuals and in cooperation with others.

Rome International School is an integrated community of students, teachers, parents and directors who work together to generate an international mindset, an entrepreneurial spirit and a life-long passion for learning.

Located in Rome’s XVth district, Rome International School joined the NACE Schools Group in 2018 and is set to benefit from the wide range of international events and activities and the professional support offered by the group.
